Here you will find an overview of frequently asked questions about the application process. We will give you the most important answers and tips for your successful application at UBB.
How do I find out whether there are job openings at UBB?
You can find all of our current job advertisements in our Online job portal. Couldn’t find a vacancy that fit your profile? We are also happy to receive unsolicited applications at any time.
How up-to-date are the offers on the online job portal?
The offers are updated on a continuous basis. You will only find advertisements for positions which are not yet filled in our online job portal.
Would it be better for me to apply online or by post?
You can send us your application online directly using our application form. We are also happy to receive applications which are sent to us by post.
What should I keep in mind with my application?
We require comprehensive information from you in order to be able to process your application. Please don’t forget to include your desired salary and earliest possible starting date in your application. Unfortunately, we will not be able to process your application without this information.
If you wish to apply online, please fill out the text field "Motivation for applying". In the process, it is important that the files/attachments do not exceed the maximum data volume of 3 MB each.
How does the application process work?
We will examine and process your application as soon as you send it to us via E-mail or post. If your documents impress us, then we will invite you to an interview in person. We will discuss the possibilities and prerequisites for working together in this interview and, as the case may be, a follow-up interview with our human resource department and the department in charge.
When can I expect to receive a reply or invitation to an interview?
You will receive a confirmation of receipt from us as soon as your application arrives. The subsequent selection process may take some time – we will inform you of the processing status and our decision as soon as possible.
Will it improve my chances to contact you by phone ahead of time?
No, making telephone contact does not influence your application's success. Please feel free to contact us with any specific questions if the answer is important for your application. If you would like us to call you back, please let us know in our online application form by placing a check mark under "please call back". In general, we will discuss detailed questions on the position being advertised with you at length during a job interview.
How is personal information from applications stored? Is data protection guarenteed?
We comply with all data protection guidelines during the entire application process as a matter of course. Your information is handled confidentially and is only used for application purposes. Only persons in charge from the recruiting department will have access to your applicant data.
